We receive no trailer fees or commissions of any kind from our sub-advisors, nor do we have "products" to sell. We offer institutional money management for a fully-disclosed fee. This way, our motivations are exactly aligned with our clients: the only way we make money is when you make money.

We have sub-advisory relationships with global firms that have established track records in their respective asset classes. As we do not receive any compensation from them, our only motivation is to choose the best managers available. To do so, we adhere to a comprehensive manager-monitoring process that ensures that the managers maintain a disciplined adherence to style and long-term goals.

Fixed income assets are managed in-house to allow for greater flexibility and cost savings. We make no attempt to predict interest rates - assets are managed with a disciplined, quantitative style, seeking relative value opportunities. We believe that an investor is not properly compensated for the incremental risk of long-term bonds or non-investment grade default risk (junk bonds). As a result, we invest in short-term, high quality instruments, saving the investor's "risk dollars" for investments that properly compensate them for the risk taken.
